Sara & Sean’s Wedding ~ October 3, 2009

by Lisa Richmond

Sara’s father Charlie Ferris is currently my youngest daughter Ember’s kindergarten teacher, was my oldest daughter Jaz’s kindergarten teacher two years ago and was also my assistant Cassie’s older brother’s kindergarten teacher.. 22 years ago! I adore Charlie & now I also adore his fantastic daughter Sara and her new husband Sean. I had asked Sean to describe Sara in one adjective and he quickly responded “Wonderful.” I then asked him for a second adjective & he replied “Compassionate, wise, understanding, beautiful..” – Anyone can tell that Sara and Sean are crazy about each other. They are alot of fun to be around; Sara is upbeat and positive and Sean(her sidekick) layering in the jokes, one after another…I’m pretty good(long family history of sarcasm…), but have found it hard to keep up with him! After their ceremony we headed off to Rainbow bridge for their Mr and Mrs photographs. Sara wore her flip flops, Sean carried his….I love formal wear down by the river. I’ve taken them on a few photographic adventures…their engagement session was out to Bassi Falls. I love folks who are up for anything! Right now they are enjoying their first married days together on a honeymoon to Seattle ..and fortunately now have their camera in full working condition! Enjoy these “teaser” photos and the slideshow. Congratulations!

Thanks Danielle, Will and Jacee- Yes- we zipped over to Rainbow Ridge after the family photos at the church. It is a great place in Folsom for Bride and Groom photos. Jacee, I’m so happy you love their photographs. It was great to finally meet “Mrs. Ferris”!

Fantastic! And we concur with all the adjectives Sean listed about Sara. Lisa: how did you have time to get all these wonderful shots in nature… and on a bridge?? The flash must have been going off like rapid fire. Loooove these photos, and so important for S&S to have.
