Kelly and Linda were referred to me by my clients Sallie-Grace and Ashley who married at Inn at Park Winters in 2014. We met recently to get to know one another a little better before their wedding in Napa next year.
It just so happened that the day of our shoot I had been having a rough day. We all have them and some days we rally better than others. Immediately, however, I was warmed and brightened by the love and connection that Kelly and Linda share. We uncorked a bottle of Pinot Noir and chatted between shots. I learned that they have been together for 20 years, that they are adventurous, love to travel and are in fact heading off to Portugal for three weeks this month. By the time we were done it had felt more like a girl’s happy hour than a photo session, although we had more than enough gorgeous shots of them together. They emailed me the next morning to confirm what I felt: “You were incredibly easy to talk to and to work with.” I feel the same ladies and I cannot wait to capture your wedding next year.
