After Aundrea and Scott met, he wanted to see her again so he planned an evening out with their mutual friends. Kim and Sean love anything outdoors so Truckee, with its proximity to many gorgeous locations, was the perfect location choice for them. Well, our initial shoot got rained out, in Camino, in the summer…can you believe it? We met down in EDH a couple weeks later to capture this little lovely who is absolutely adored by her parents…can you tell ? Really, Makena is a complete doll and this was her 2nd of 3 shoots in her baby package. I’m sure before we know it she’ll be smashing that first birthday cake! Karen and Erin got married at High Sierra Iris and Wedding Gardens in mid August. I hadn’t shot at that location in awhile and there were some beautiful upgrades to the property including uplighting on the trees behind the dance floor and a cool little cabana for the bar. Surrounded by family and friends Karen and Erin exchanged their vows and started the celebration of their married lives together. These images were made just three days after Baby Graydon’s birth which I had the honor of attending and photographing. New, newborn photography is so precious. New parents are so priceless. I’ve known Tom and Bethany since 2008 when we got together to do their pre wedding engagement session. We’ve been friends since and I was so happy to receive the call once Bethany’s pregnancy was official, that they wanted me to join them for the birth. I had another great evening at Sly Park lake enjoying the wonderful light during an engagement session with Bill and Stephanie.
