And so it goes…later this month Paige will grab her royal blue cap and gown and gracefully cross the stage at El Dorado High School as she retrieves her diploma. Wow. 16 years later.
Our families have been friends since 2002 when Jaci, Paige’s mom had a daycare center that our children attended for years. In fact, back in the day, Jaci also used to work for me and I have always valued her as a worker, caregiver and friend. What a treat to get to photograph her oldest daughter- such a naturally, beautiful young woman whom I’ve known since she was a toddler.
Here are a few of my favorites from our photography session last week at the lake. Since Paige spent many years dancing with On Stage Productions, it was perfect that she brought one of her performance costumes to the session. As a former gymnast, then dancer, photographing movement and form of the human body is a love of mine and I enjoyed capturing her expressions and grace as we played together in the setting sun.
This fall, Paige will be attending Sacramento State where she plans to study marketing. Just like that. Love and congratulations to the Miller family and best wishes, Paige, as you explore your many passions. And, wherever you go, go with all your heart.
