I was so excited to hear that Brett and Erin were getting married, and honored that they chose me to be their photographer. I shot her sister Courtney’s wedding last year, and was thrilled to get to work with their family again. This is just one of those families you never forget…in a good and warm way; kind, generous, joyful AND FUN. Many thanks to my past wedding clients, Jenn and Jeff, guests at both weddings, for their referral and for just knowing how we’d hit it off!
We started out the day in Folsom where Erin and Brett got ready and had their first look. The Ceremony was held at the church Erin grew up in, Cyprus Missionary Baptist Church, and then it was off to the Granite Bay Golf Club for their beautiful reception. I have to say, these two could not have been more lucky when it came to the weather. We had a beautiful blue sky full of clouds in the morning and they somehow timed it perfectly so that they missed the rain during the indoor ceremony, and then walked out to a beautiful rainbow as newlyweds. Wow!
Erin caught the bouquet at Courtney’s wedding last year, and their sister Kristin caught the bouquet this year….hmmmmmm. Much kudos to all of the vendors I worked with that day too. From Heidi, the coordinator at GBGC to Joan’s absolutely breathtaking floral work to the video team from 4th Wall Productions to Larry from Extreme Productions- it was a night to remember! Thank you!
