I first met Sarah and Etan on the Pier behind Tahoe Tavern Properties where they and the rest of their group were staying for their Lake Tahoe destination wedding. They were from New York and had arrived at Lake Tahoe earlier that week. Sarah made her beautiful dress for the day, along with the handkerchiefs that Etan, and her father carried for the day. The ceremony and celebrations took place at the Christy Hill Restaurant overlooking the lake in Tahoe City. During their ceremony they took the time to mention by name every person that was there, and thanked them all for being there to celebrate with them. It was a memorable and heartfelt vow exchange. Where Sarah’s sister was the “official” officiant, their ceremony was about the two of them as they stood alone in front of their group of close friends and family expressing their joy about their marriage. Their words were unique and their expressions to each other, personal. Refreshing. The reception followed with some amazingly fresh food which was truly a treat (thank you Sarah and Etan). The evening came to a close with everyone dancing to reggae on the deck under the moonlight, just enjoying together. Congratulations Sarah and Etan hope you had a great trip cruising around the west!
