fall family sessions

Here are some of my favorites from a truly beautiful, fall afternoon getting to meet you all and photograph your family in the liquid ambers. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving together–and know that I plan a “cheers” to your whole family when I have my first shot of tequila (ha, ha – in Mexico) !  I hope to have your whole gallery up later tonight or before I leave. Kids are so real around their pets- it’s a great distraction and you always get real smiles. Who doesn’t love a floppy puppy in photos? Too cute.

When Megan contacted me about her upcoming marriage to Avery I was so excited. Not only for her, not only for Avery and not only for me (as I was obviously hoping to be asked to photograph the celebration). I was so excited for the joy that this occasion would no doubt be bringing her family, his family, their families. That made me happy. I’ve been friends with the Byers family for years and got to capture both Megan’s and Travis’s high school senior photographs.
