Lots of love and congratulations to Adam and Ashley who welcomed their first child, Braxton Adam Wells early on April 30. I am so thrilled for them and for their new life adventure. After getting to capture Adam and Ashley, together at the lake, just shy of two weeks before Braxton’s delivery and also Ashley in a beautiful sunset maternity session,  I already know they are becoming amazing parents. When longterm clients become longtime friends, I know that my business is exactly everything I’d hoped it to be.  That’s what it is like with the Anderson family.  I met them when their youngest child Ryan was still an infant and have been blessed to watch them grow and evolve as a family ever since.  Even with their busy schedules (full-time jobs for both mom and dad, plus part-time soccer coaching, along with soccer playing for the kids) they still are able to find time for annual family photography.  Even if that means a sunset arrival for their afternoon session!  Doesn’t matter; when…

I had the pleasure of photographing Stefanie’s senior portraits.  Working with seniors is one of my favorite things to do because I love the energy and enthusiasm that they bring to the session.  So many changes happening, and so many adventures to look forward to, how can you not smile from ear to ear? I had almost forgotten how much energy corralling two toddlers can be! That was until I met up with the Pooley family recently at Larsen’s Apple Barn. Kelly and Chase purchased my Baby Package and this was their third session with me to celebrate their daughter, Makena’s, first birthday. Makena was super cute as the birthday princess in her little pink tutu, prancing around Larsen’s Apple Barn, in Camino. Meanwhile mom had fun swapping out outfits, ribbons, and accessories.
