The wedding of Beth and David was held at Valhalla in West Shore Lake Tahoe, CA. It was a perfect day; the clouds in the sky were bright & fluffy, the weather was comfortable & cool, everything was green and the water was a beautiful Tahoe blue. The family and friends attending the wedding were so much fun and happy to see these two finally be getting married. Beth looked stunning in her wedding dress and was so excited to be getting married to David! Congratulations you two for finally tying the knot! Enjoy your slideshow!

Andrew got in touch with me because he and Travis are friends and I photographed Travis’ senior photos at the end of  last year. He wanted to me to shoot around his home since he has lived there all his life and wanted to remember it in his photographs. Andrew is a senior graduating from El Dorado High School, Class of 2009. David and Beth have been together for 9 years and have been engaged for 1 1/2 years! Beth is an accountant for her family owned business Dixon&Dixon in Pollock Pines and David owns his own small software company. They both love the outdoors and doing outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. In fact, the day before their wedding David and his grooms men are going on a kayaking and camping trip to Emerald Bay and coming back early in the morning on the day of the wedding! Not the common bachelors party , but I think it sounds better!…

Andrew has been my neighbor since I first moved to Pollock Pines. I’m looking forward to documenting his wedding for his family as well as Molly’s. Molly and Andrew met at Los Hermanos – Andrew was Molly’s boss and we all laughed about how that is about to change! So far, this couple has had to plan their wedding 3 times because they’ve changed their location but have decided to have their wedding in Molly’s fathers backyard for a relaxed wedding. Ain’t love grand? Today I was supposed to be updating my website, which I did, sort of. I got side tracked and made a post about my 25th high school reunion(see below) and then started to work on updating my couples section. At the end of the day, I must admit, I am not much of an editor and instead of choosing a few images to use to update my site, I created a slideshow with well, many of my favorites. This is Nick Seid – a senior graduating from El Dorado High School 2009 . He has been busy visiting potential schools mostly up and down the Pacific Coast. He wants to major in Theater or maybe journalism. Right now Nick is actually the lead in an upcoming spring play drama “MacBeth” put on by El Dorado High School – for times and scheduling go to this link: MacBeth Info. Since Nick is an actor it made it easy for him to pose and look great naturally for the camera! He was a lot of fun to work with.

This is Ryan O’Rilley a senior graduating from El Dorado High School this year (woo go Ryan!) We had a fun time on this shoot. We meaning myself, my assistant Cassie, Ryan and his mother Trisa – who told us some pretty great stories about Ryan when he was younger so I could get a real laugh and genuine smile out of him… but we won’t tell those stories for Ryan’s sake! : )
