Pollock Pines was digging out of a storm the day Anna and I drive down through Folsom over to Penryn to meet Trisha and Justin for their engagement shoot. It was a beautiful spring day(in Folsom). Michelle and Tim are a great couple. As a photographer, it is a great feeling you get when you see someone’s natural connection and ease with each other…AND you get to photograph them! You may remember these two from this post last fall at the river. After the shoot they decided they wanted a guest book for their wedding. We decided to head downtown for an urban vibe shoot to compliment the river shoot and to make the guest book even more playful and full of life, like they are. Here’s the fun we had! Chip called me a few weeks ago- it seems his old friend and new sweetheart was going to be in town and it was important to him to capture the beginnings of their relationship. I had the chance to meet up with Sandi and Terry Friday night at Larsens Park in Camino. Sandi was Jaz’s second grade teacher. Jaz loved her- and so did we. We gave this session to her as an end of the year thank you gift. The light was beautiful, and so were these two! Thank you Sandi for making Jaz’s year in second grade such a fantastic one!

I met Cherise and Chris in Redwood City for their session. Cherise, a hairstylist, and Chris, who works at REI,  are such a fun and vibrant couple. We ended up having a blast at the playground where they got engaged and getting some great images that really show off how fun they are. John & Elisha are getting married on July 10, 2010 at the beautiful Fausel Ranch in Placerville, CA. They were referred to me from Gretchen & Matt‘s wedding last August at Fausel last year (apparently they have a groomsman in common). Thank goodness for late starts to summer. Courtney and Josh are total opposites they say – and it seemed to be a bit true.
