The wedding of Beth and David was held at Valhalla in West Shore Lake Tahoe, CA. It was a perfect day; the clouds in the sky were bright & fluffy, the weather was comfortable & cool, everything was green and the water was a beautiful Tahoe blue. The family and friends attending the wedding were so much fun and happy to see these two finally be getting married. Beth looked stunning in her wedding dress and was so excited to be getting married to David! Congratulations you two for finally tying the knot! Enjoy your slideshow!

Andrew was celebrating his 18th birthday, his Ponderosa High School graduation AND his Eagle Scout Court of Honor! The ceremony was held at Foothills United Methodist Church, in Cameron Park. Andrew Rosio has been in boy scouts for 12 years and now that he is graduated he will continue on to be an Adult Leader for his troop 550. With months and months of planning from Andrews mother Laura the day went smoothly with out a hitch! It was quite a new experience for me and it was fun shooting this event. Congratulations Andrew! Andrew got in touch with me because he and Travis are friends and I photographed Travis’ senior photos at the end of  last year. He wanted to me to shoot around his home since he has lived there all his life and wanted to remember it in his photographs. Andrew is a senior graduating from El Dorado High School, Class of 2009. David and Beth have been together for 9 years and have been engaged for 1 1/2 years! Beth is an accountant for her family owned business Dixon&Dixon in Pollock Pines and David owns his own small software company. They both love the outdoors and doing outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. In fact, the day before their wedding David and his grooms men are going on a kayaking and camping trip to Emerald Bay and coming back early in the morning on the day of the wedding! Andrew has been my neighbor since I first moved to Pollock Pines. I’m looking forward to documenting his wedding for his family as well as Molly’s. Molly and Andrew met at Los Hermanos – Andrew was Molly’s boss and we all laughed about how that is about to change! So far, this couple has had to plan their wedding 3 times because they’ve changed their location but have decided to have their wedding in Molly’s fathers backyard for a relaxed wedding. Ain’t love grand? Today I was supposed to be updating my website, which I did, sort of. I got side tracked and made a post about my 25th high school reunion(see below) and then started to work on updating my couples section. At the end of the day, I must admit, I am not much of an editor and instead of choosing a few images to use to update my site, I created a slideshow with well, many of my favorites. This is Nick Seid – a senior graduating from El Dorado High School 2009 . He has been busy visiting potential schools mostly up and down the Pacific Coast. He wants to major in Theater or maybe journalism. Since Nick is an actor it made it easy for him to pose and look great naturally for the camera! He was a lot of fun to work with.

Lauren and Karl were referred to me by my friend Sharon who was referred to me by my friend Renee. I think Renee found one of my flyers at the winery where she worked at the time. Lauren and Karl seemed to be in the spirit of most of my referrals- happy, loving life and ready for anything. I love that! Most of the time, I meet all my couples prior to their booking me for their wedding. Because they live in San Francisco, I had not met Melissa and Ryan until we landed in the parking lot at Baker Beach to start their engagement session. It didn’t matter- We all had a great time getting to know each other while taking advantage of the amazing light on the Golden Gate Bridge.
