Minda, Tyler & Banyan met me at Larsen’s Park in Camino for their family shoot. Banyan is 6 months old and such a cutey! It’s always fun and interesting when you are photographing babies and amazing how many towels just one shoot can require! He was so interested in the cars passing by, the wispy blades of wheat and his moms hair. Ah, to look at the world that wide eyed and fresh again…even if for a few moments:) Minda & Tyler enjoyed playing with their son and getting all of his silly expressions to come out for the camera.…

As you might have read in my previous blog about Tara & Tony, I shot their wedding in February 2007. Then this year in July, I photographed Tara’s belly with a little growing baby bean inside. Then on September 10th I went back to photograph the family with their new addition, Zoe! She was only 2 weeks old and is an absolute gem! I feel these images portray what having a newborn is really like… discovering, new, unknown, messy, instinctual, full-time, happy, exhausting, sleepy .. with little moments of peace mixed in. I shot Tony & Tara’s wedding back in February of 2007. It is “the best” to be able to photograph a couples wedding and then photograph their next steps in life – like this one. Pretty soon I’m going to meet the next generation “Little”, ~Zoe Little~ ! Zoe’s due date is August 29th and there is no doubt in my mind that Tony & Tara are going to be the greatest parents! Congratulations Tony and Tara!
