Trevor & Brielle were married at “The House on the Hill”, the home of Brielle’s parents, Irene and Alan in Greenstone. They have all been working very hard since January to get ready for the wedding not to mention a complete home landscaping, patio building and gazebo raising (what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger…right?) Twenty six years photographing graduation at Chatham Hall in Chatham, VA. I really do enjoy going back year after year and getting the opportunity to see the school grow and change while also staying the same. It’s the type of perspective you can only get when you are not there day after day. Kim, Vern & their kids all showed up to The Sequoia in a big party bus and basically already had their party started! They were relaxed and easy going. Brianna is going to be a biology major at Northern Arizona State this fall. She graduates from El Dorado High in a few short weeks. I love the late afternoon light at High Hill so we started off there. Brianna was fun and playful with the camera right off the bat. And trust me, the camera loves Brianna! Outdoor spring weddings are tough to plan and to nail weather-wise around here. It is a bit of a crap shoot. I know this of course because I got married in the pouring rain (May 6, 2000) in Amador county not to mention my experiences with spring weddings in this area.
