I first met the Bryant family when they moved to town earlier this year from Carmichael. Jaxon ruled the roost as most curious toddlers do- often preferring searching for rocks and other miscellaneous items as compared to those pesky photos! But alas- enter some “to die for” sunset light on the lake and trees, and some mom and dad playtime and we were able to capture some gorgeous photos of the whole family too! That cute little bow tie….. I’m looking forward to Jaxon’s birthday session next month!

Well, this session was a couple of years in the planning. With Eric and Ginger’s home finally repaired from the destruction of the Caldor fire two years ago, and Laurie and Jason’s daughter, Myra heading off to college in Santa Cruz soon, the time was right. I met the extended Schlavin/Pittman families out at the lake and on Grandparent’s Day too! As I posted this, “new parents any day now” Brooke has arrived!  Courtney and Joel are going to be new parents any day now and I understand their excitement. They’re embarking on a journey that they really know nothing about first hand- but they’re moving forward with joy, love and anticipation for what is next, together. TOGETHER. Diane and Brian are beginning the process of adopting a child and called me to schedule a session that would express who they are as a couple to potential birth mothers and fathers.  Like many of my clients, they found me through referral, this time via a Facebook friend and wedding client. The Calitri’s were the lucky winners of a session for Intel’s big annual fundraiser for charity. The whole family seemed to love getting outdoors, and the boys didn’t mind that there was a seemingly endless amount of rocks to throw.
