Upcountry

It has been a few years since I photographed the Gimpel family and was excited they were ready for another session. After giving them a few ideas of locations, they said that “upcountry” suited them–so off we went. Chasing light on the aspens and spending time on a nearby mountain top,  overlooking the setting sun in the southwestern sky is a great way to spend the afternoon in my book.
