Ally and Keenan’s wedding was one of the last of my fall season — and what a perfect way to close it out. They chose to celebrate their love at Camp Nauvoo, with the amazing folks at Roses and Acorns Weddings, creating a weekend that was as relaxed and heartfelt as it was fun.
This wasn’t just a wedding — it was an experience. Ally and Keenan spent the weekend camping with their closest family and friends, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the warmth of community. It was the kind of celebration that reminds you what weddings are truly about — connection, laughter, and love.
Their ceremony was one of the most memorable I’ve ever witnessed. They spoke their vows straight from the heart — no notes, no scripts, just pure, honest emotion. Every word drew everyone in. There were tears (many!), laughter, and that rare kind of silence that comes when everyone is fully present in a moment. Their friends and family toasting them brought the same kind of emotion. Clearly, they are loved.
As the evening continued, their first dances were shared in the center of their guests, and everyone gathered around And of course, the night ended with a big ol’ dance party! The stars came out, the music turned up, and the celebration rolled on well into the night.
Ally and Keenan’s day was everything I love about photographing weddings — intentional, emotional, and full of genuine connection. As my last wedding of the fall season, it was the most beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.
