Camino-Tree farm and forest

Congratulations to El Dorado High school  senior, Jakob, who I photographed at Larsen’s Apple Barn in Camino recently. Senior year. The big finale. Jakob is crazy about soccer (as you can see from his images) and he plays for Ethos Academy, which is an affiliate team for the San Jose Earthquakes.  You could see him really come alive as he practiced with the soccer ball. Mom, Andi, is an old friend of mine(and a fabulous, sought after Real Estate agent). The Wagners used to live up here locally and I photographed their family a few years back. As always, it’s crazy…

What else is there to say about Nathan other than the fact that I am in love with those cheeks of his?  I’m honored to get to continue documenting the lives and loves of the Hayashi Family. Since their wedding several years back(actually, they just celebrated 3, I believe), we have become friends and share a mutual love of photography. We met up at Larsen’s park in Camino. Nathan was initially in a sleepy mood having just woken up from the car ride but then turned into a great mood, especially given the almost 2 hours that we were there…and…

I love that I get to witness families both start and grow as part of my job. I was happy to get the call from the Gustafson’s that they were ready for their family session. I had worked with Sara and Eric and their dogs a few years back, and was excited at the chance to meet their new little guy, Clayton, aka Mr. Smiley. Now, as Sara told me, she had a new camera but very few images of the three of them OR of her and their new son Clayton- THIS I understand as I have been documenting…
