“2 months down until forever, can’t wait!”
Michelle wrote this back in 2011 while responding to their wedding post on my blog. They celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Fausel Ranch. Over the years we’ve had many sessions-pregnancy, newborn, kids, first year, growing family…you name it. Last summer we met up at Fausel Ranch for an anniversary celebration for Deanna and David who own the Ranch as well as anyone who got married at the Ranch. It was great to see them as well as so many other couples I have photographed there over the years. We talked about reconnecting this spring for a family session. It’s always an honor to reconnect with my previous wedding couples and their growing families and the Mathewson family is at the top of that list.
I always leave a session with them feeling energized. Their family has a great connection and I have loved the opportunity to capture it over the years. Madelyn and Paige have a playful sister relationship and are both very curious and energetic. They also had a lot of ideas for photos which I of course rolled with. HA- I even performed a cartwheel for them to keep them engaged at one point. Madelyn, of course, had to video it! I may have impressed myself- making it to the other side of the cartwheel but mostly from being able to get out of bed the next morning. Muscle memory is a thing. A good thing.
Well, officially, Tim and Michelle are 13 years and two months into their forever. Congrats you two!
