The wild thing about having a toddler who is your baby is that all of a sudden she’s not the baby anymore. Just like that, she seems so big, so much older.
As you might have remembered, Casey Moreland came in to this world with a bang, stunning her mama whose labor progressed from just getting started to delivery in about 30 minutes. Casey continues to capture my heart, as does her family who are warm, loving and engaged. Gorgeous light! Gorgeous Danielle! What a wonderful way to celebrate the starting of another generation. Maternity sessions are often some of my favorite sessions for so many reasons. Danielle and William were expecting their first child when I took these photographs several weeks ago at Fausel Ranch, but I’ve been so busy lately that baby Aubree was already born and photographed before I got to get this session out to you all. Kelly and Chase purchased my Baby Package and this was their third session with me to celebrate their daughter, Makena’s, first birthday. Makena was super cute as the birthday princess in her little pink tutu, prancing around Larsen’s Apple Barn, in Camino. Meanwhile mom had fun swapping out outfits, ribbons, and accessories. Well, our initial shoot got rained out, in Camino, in the summer…can you believe it? We met down in EDH a couple weeks later to capture this little lovely who is absolutely adored by her parents…can you tell ? These images were made just three days after Baby Graydon’s birth which I had the honor of attending and photographing. New, newborn photography is so precious. New parents are so priceless. I remember the adventure and it’s fun to witness through the eyes of a rested mom(more rested anyway).
