I was so happy when Lindsey reached out after Veronica and Josh’s wedding, and through our connection with the San Miguel family, Madison and Hailey whom I’ve been photographing since pre-school. Mom, Julie came along to help with the grandkids, dancing and carrying on behind my camera.
I’m pleased with this series of images, though admittedly it wasn’t easy getting them. Sometimes it is, sometimes it’s not. I always arrive open, letting what happens unfold. Let’s be honest, kids’ moods and energy levels can be like a box of chocolates on every given day. You have to work quickly and smart, while taking time to run around and play. Lindsay and Daniel did a great job keeping the energy light but focused while Elizabeth ran around, taking small moments to be in the shot. That red hair on the green grass! YES!
