My friend Kelly and I have been talking about her daughter, Whitney’s, senior pictures for a while now and with spring in full bloom, it seemed like the perfect time. Whitney is looking forward to starting college at Folsom Lake in the fall and then continuing on to a nursing program. We had a fun time wandering around Boeger Winery in the late afternoon light, and she even brought her friend Ashley along “to keep it real”. When I asked her if she had a boyfriend in order to elicit an expression, she made one up and came up with the name “Horatio”, who we then proceeded to refer to for the rest of the shoot.
