Meet Hailey- She is graduating from El Dorado High this spring. When I suggested the river as a backdrop for her senior photos, she said “perfect”- I knew I would like her! Shooting with seniors is alot of fun for me- they are so open and willing to experiment and Hailey was no exception. As an artist, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t- but it is in the finding out that makes it all worth it. At one point I asked Hailey as I was working composing a shot, “What are you thinking about?” and in a perfect high school reply she said, “I’m just trying really hard not to look stupid”….and I then proceeded to take a burst of “laughing out loud” frames as we all giggled at her honesty!
