Janine used to teach yoga at the same place I taught a dance aerobics class. Just saying that brings me way back. We all had little kids/infants that we brought to class and had babysitting available for all the moms who wanted to work out while both trying to shed a few pounds and carve out a little personal time. It was a fine time- lots of camaraderie – with new moms sharing the trials and tribulations of parenting, while more experienced moms shared their own experiences. Yes, we all felt lucky to have this. The thing I loved about Janine was how grounded and patient she was even amongst the chaos. I thought- wow, if this is what yoga can do- it couldn’t hurt! Janine tells me that this is the 4th family shoot I have done for them, and I believe her- I am certain she keeps that all straight:) Janine and her family moved to Nevada and I was thrilled to get her call saying that she wanted some more photographs. Below are the images from the shoot- but first, I had to include one from years ago. You may have seen it on my website, it is of their sons Joe and Kale about 4 years ago and definitely one of my favorites. See below….
