Isn’t she just the cutest? I met up with this wonderful Sacramento family at the Charles C Jensen Botanical Gardens in Carmichael. Sarah was celebrating her first birthday and her parents, wanted to capture this milestone. She is clearly adored and her smile melted my heart. Oh, sweet Maeve. The little girl who flashes her gorgeous, multi-toothed smile when she hears Irish music and who is so adored by her mom and dad. It’s not always “hitting the ground running” with a session, especially with toddlers and a timeframe. While this one started off a bit shaky, we were able to find a rhythm with Miss Madelynn and capture some lovely images. While I’m certain Mandy and Tom, whom I photographed their gorgeous spring wedding in the exact same location in 2019, were wishing they didn’t have an upset little one.   Where does the time go? One thing for sure, I am able to mark the passing of another year by my annual Anderson Family session. Jessica recently shared with me this photo of their photo albums that they create with their print order every year and it was so lovely and flattering to see these beautiful treasures marking every year, holding a lifetime of memories. And so it is….Miss Lily is one and what a doll she is. Big brother Nyron called me “Aunt Lisa” when I arrived and I just about melted. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got to spend about an hour with mom, Michelle, Paige and big sister Madelyn capturing some images of just the three of them and mostly to celebrate Paige’s first birthday. What a sweety. She even allowed me to snuggle her as she wasn’t feeling that great. I remember. Sierra will be joining this landscape in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains any day now…in fact I just heard that mama, Allyson is on bed rest in order to keep their little one cooking for just a while longer.
