Serrano Country Club weddings

Jeff and Jonna exchanged their vows in front of 25 family and friends in the sweetest side-patio wedding at Serrano Country Club. While I’ve photographed many weddings at Serrano, it was my first time doing a ceremony on the side-patio and it was the perfect intimate setting, gently shaded by green vines overhanging on the terrace. Serrano Country Club is a beautiful location for a wedding and even provides back up plans, just in case it rains, as it did for Robin and Troy’s nuptials.

Scott and Christina married at Serrano Country Club on April 9, 2022- and the next morning I left for Scotland- which is why I’m getting these up a little later than usual. Talk about a chill bride, Christina was all that and more. They chose Serrano Country Club due in part to the proximity to their home but also, the crew at Serrano always host such an elegant affair. High School sweethearts and “friends first”, Nick and Anja got married 10 years after they first started dating. The history of ten years of dating made for alot of storytelling (and great expressions) during the toasts- lots of laughing. And that’s the way it was all day….they were surrounded in joy, warmth and the “love of life” vibe of friends and family.

The first time I connected with Mary on the phone in regards to their Serrano Country Club wedding celebration, we talked for a long time. We talked alot about education as my daughter Jaz was having her first year away at boarding school. Mary is a mathematician/teacher the kind you know the students adore, and Bill is retired with a passion for all things outdoors, biking, paddling, mountain climbing. Ashlie and Jay may have tied the knot a year ago, but waited until a beautiful summer evening in the El Dorado Hills before making it official in front of their friends and family.  And who could blame them?  The Serrano Country Club provided a beautiful setting for their stunning sunset reception.  Ashlie’s mother in law helped plan an evening that was equal parts warm, personal, intimate, and elegant.  For this beautiful couple it was all about the fellowship, food, fun and – luckily for me – photography!  I love it when my couples want to get the absolute most…

This was truly a fabulous day. JaNee and Bobby couldn’t have been any kinder to my assistant Ashley and to me. Having just met six months ago their marriage truly brought together their family and friends(and many for the first time). January 2, 2016 was a lovely but cool and very crisp day at the lovely Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills. I met Lauren and Chris on a glorious fall day for their engagement session up in Apple Hill. It is a great way for us to get to know each other in front of and behind the camera. As with many sessions, we slowly moved into those moments that feel real as we all got comfortable with each other.
