I’m always flattered when a previous wedding client allows me the honor to attend their first birth or any birth for that matter. To me, it says alot about not only their comfortability with themselves but also the comfortability and trust that they have in me as an individual, as a photographer. I woke up the morning of December 3 to an email from Keith that said “Finn’s Coming”. After I spoke with him he said Tiffany was getting ready to push so I figured I would miss it as the hospital was an hour away. Jumped in the shower, breakfast and coffee out the door and down the hill I went. I entered their birth room about 10 minutes after Finn entered the world. Raw emotion- my absolute favorite thing in photography- capturing it- telling the story. Cyndi Whitwell who was the doula for the birth of my first child was also there supporting Tiffany. I realized that it was about 10 years to the day(Jaz- Dec 4) that she was with me. Full circle. I love it! Congratulations you all- can’t wait for the newborn session next week!
