Vivian contacted me last year while looking for someone to photograph her wedding. She explained via email that she was very musical and had this song in her head for weeks and she couldn’t quite put a finger on WHAT song it was. As she was looking at the wedding slideshow on my website, she realized that the song I used with my wedding images was the song she had in her head, “Let’s Fall in Love”. She said at that point she knew it was meant to be and she called me…I love little stories like that!
I met Eric and Vivian in Coloma for their session as Eric is a big gold rush buff. Engagement sessions are so great for getting to know a couple and I had yet to have met them. I think that Vivian was a little nervous at first about being in front of the camera but soon relaxed and agreed that having this time before the wedding really helped them both feel comfortable about it all.
