Lake Tahoe Child Photographer

South Lake Tahoe was this year’s destination and I met up with them right before I took off for a vacation. Their family has a home in Tahoe Keys and they love the area. Who doesn’t? Cooler temps, mountains, meadows, beaches, and sunsets.

The last time I met up with Elizabeth and Greg we were at Sand Harbor and Hudson, their oldest now, was getting ready to make his grand appearance. This was in 2019. Now Hudson is almost 5 and Perry is almost 4. Super cute and ALL BOY! We ran, we built castles, collected pinecones, looked for critters and at the end we succumbed to the lake. They were ready. What better time to capture your family? Everyone is on vacation, relaxed and spending time together! This time was Lake Tahoe for the Weinberger family who captures their family every year at a new location….how fun! Look how much these two kids have grown, HA -and their adult parents too….though I must admit, they look the same as when I captured them on their wedding day at Fausel Ranch back in 2011.

On a cool but sun-splashed day, and on the 19th wedding anniversary of Kristen and Eric, my daughter/assistant Jaz and I met the Haus family upcountry to capture some family photos. The last time I got to capture the Haus family was back in 2011.

Alot happens in nine years even separate from the nine additional wedding anniversaries.

I first met Chris in Bear Valley where we were working together, Chris as a hair stylist and me as a photographer. She was just putting the finishing touches on our bride Briana’s wedding day hair, which I might add looked just as lovely at the end of the wedding as it did at the start of the day. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got to spend about an hour with mom, Michelle, Paige and big sister Madelyn capturing some images of just the three of them and mostly to celebrate Paige’s first birthday. What a sweety. She even allowed me to snuggle her as she wasn’t feeling that great. I remember. When Heaven called me after being referred to my business for a Tahoe family snow session right after the holidays, I was ALL in. Well, except for that part where we needed SNOW and SUNSHINE…and in a defined period of time. That’s a tall order. Anyone who lives around here in the mountains and that skis knows that it doesn’t usually work that way.  Weather is more predictable about 2-3 days out as it changes so fast.
